Installation Engineer

EcoStride Energy is a renewable energy solutions company helping homes, businesses, and institutions across Nigeria access reliable, quality-assured solar energy systems. We are expanding our field engineering team in nation-wide and looking for experienced solar technicians to join us.
As an Installation Engineer, you will assess existing solar systems, advise clients on the right solutions, and carry out professional installations to EcoStride's technical standards. You will be supported by our technical team and work with products sourced from vetted international manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct professional assessments of existing solar installations
- Identify faults, underperformance, and replacement needs
- Install and commission solar PV systems, inverters, and battery storage
- Advise clients clearly on their energy situation and next steps
- Submit accurate job reports through EcoStride's platform
Must Have
- Minimum 2 years solar installation experience
- Hands-on knowledge of inverters, batteries, and system wiring
- Based in Nigeria with willingness to travel within the country
- Professional, punctual, and honest
- Valid Identity document, BVN, NIN
Nice to have
- Formal electrical or renewable energy qualification
- Experience with lithium battery systems (LiFePO4)
- Experience with hybrid inverters (Growatt, Victron, Deye, or similar)
- Speak more than one Nigerian language
